ANZAC DAY, 25th April 2010

Most of the Group marched at New Lynn some at Titrangi.
Reuben didn’t quite make it to either so off to Piha Beach.
As the memorial is at the foot of Lion Rock the parade and service is held at low tide, 1400 hours this year.

We had to cross the stream, and as you can see below the memorial and Colour Mast are by the water. Bare feet instead of polished black shoes were the order of the day!
